What is FASTMATCH? back to top
FASTMATCH is an electronic, internet based appointment system that can be used by all conference registrants to help plan and arrange their meeting schedules at the 2008 Trade Fair.
The system allows any person who has registered for the conference to log on and view available appointment times with any other registered attendee.
How do I begin to use FASTMATCH? back to top
After you register for the meeting, you will receive a username and password via email. Click on the live link within the email, or copy and paste the link into your browser window to be taken directly to the sign in screen. Registrants can also go to www.isaconference.org and click on the FASTMATCH icon. The link will take the user to the login screen. Enter the username and password sent to you via email, and you are logged into the system!
Once on the FASTMATCH home screen, click on the link “Add FASTMATCH” to begin searching for an attendee.
Why should I use FASTMATCH to schedule my Trade Fair Activity? back to top
It is the most efficient way to schedule your time at the Trade Fair. You can invite trading partners or potential trading partners to meet with you in your booth, or ask to meet them in their booth.
Don’t want to wait in line to see distributors or manufacturers representatives? Make a FASTMATCH appointment and there will be no waiting.
Don’t want to keep circling a manufacturer’s booth waiting for an available representative on Sunday or Monday? Make a FASTMATCH appointment.
You can ask to make appointments with every attendee who has registered for the Conference & Trade Fair. You can have your entire two-day Trade Fair schedule committed before you leave your office.
How would I select attendes I want to meet at the Trade Fair? back to top
You can select the name of any attendee registered for the Conference & Trade Fair. Once you are in the system, you can search for people to meet with based upon location, name, company name, type of product, and type of business.
How do I know the person I want to schedule a meeting with has that time slot available? back to top
When you click on the name of the person you want to meet with, a drop down menu will appear that shows you all of the times available that do not have a confirmed meeting scheduled. You can then request any of the available times.
What time slots are available using FASTMATCH? back to top
FASTMATCH is available for both days of the Trade Fair.
On Sunday, June 1, FASTMATCH appointments will run from 10:00 AM -12:00 Noon, continue during lunch, and from 1: 30PM – 5:00 PM.
On Monday, June 2, FASTMATCH appointments will run from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon .
Appointment times are for 15 minutes, with a 5-minute transition time between meetings.
Need more time? You can make a double appointment.
I have more than one person manning my booth. Can FASTMATCH make more then one appointment for the same time slot? back to top
Yes . Because appointments are made with people and not with companies, a company with more than one person in a booth can receive multiple appointments during the same time slot, but with different representatives.
Am I required to have appointment with everyone who uses FASTMATCH? back to top
Accepting a meeting is your decision. The system allows for meetings to be declined or moved to another time. You need to ACCEPT and ACKNOWLEDGE ALL MEETINGS you wish to have, or DECLINE those you do not wish or are unable to have. The system’s unique notes feature allows you to respond in a personal way to all requests.
How will I know when an appointment I requested is officially accepted and will occur?

ALL FASTMATCH APPOINTMENTS YOU REQUEST ARE SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE VIA EMAIL THROUGH THE SYSTEM FROM: isafastmatch@fernley.com -- UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN ACCEPTANCE FROM THE PERSON YOU REQUESTED AN APPOINTMENT WITH, THE REQUEST IS PENDING.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE ALL REQUESTS YOU RECEIVE, WHETHER YOU ACCEPT OR DECLINE THEM, BECAUSE THE REQUESTED TIME SLOT CANNOT BE USED AGAIN UNTIL YOU RESPOND.
Remember you can always check your appointment schedule online. Additionally, a complete schedule will be sent to you 10 days before the Conference & Trade Fair.
Can I cancel meetings I have set up with FASTMATCH? back to top
The system allows you to cancel meetings. Its notes section allows you to offer reasons for the cancellation.
Can I have meetings with trading partners who have not used FASTMATCH? back to top
YES. You can set up your booth or organize your personnel to handle FASTMATCH appointments and handle WALK INS with no appointment.
There will be open time the morning of both days. During these open times, you can meet with anyone you like. Open times are from 8:30am-10am on Sunday, June 1 and from 7:30am to 10am on Monday, June 2.
How will my customers or potential customers know I have FASTMATCH appointments or if I will be able to meet with them? back to top
You will be provided with a board you can display prominently in your booth that will be used to show what time slots have been filled with FASTMATCH appointments. Individual names of appointments will not be shown, only the times that are committed to appointments. You will fill in your appointment board(s) when you arrive at the Trade Fair.
